Apple, who are known for their high-end and expensive products, has come with a really feature-full product at a very low price compared to similar Apple products.

Apple have a very good range of iPads and accessories. Their prices starts from £319 for iPad to £1719.00 for 12.9inch iPad pro (accessories sold separately) but there is one in this range which is very powerful and not so expensive. For just £479, you can buy a very user-friendly iPad air (64gb Wi-Fi Version).

The iPad air is a 10.5 inch tablet and is compatible with the smart keyboard and (first-generation) Apple Pencil. The device is as powerful as the previous version of the iPad pro and even the screen size is the same as the previous iPad pro (10.5).

Design for the iPad air is also same as the iPad pro. The screen is full HD LED display and it is laminated which means there is no air gap between the touch and the pixel. The screen also features Apple True Technology The iPad air is a 10.5 inch tablet is compatible with the smart keyboard and (first-generation) Apple Pencil.

The basic reason to launch this iPad air is to give people the feel of a iPad Pro in a much reasonable price. The only features that this iPad lacks is that it doesn’t have the fancy large curved screen bezels and Apple’s ProMotion technology both these features are pretty cool but not cool enough to spend hundreds of pounds on.

The smart keyboard works fine with it just like the expensive iPad pro and the pencil as well although the pencil is the previous generation pencil that means you have to charge the pencil by connecting it to the Ipad’s lightning connector which is bit of a headache because you have to keep the cap of the pencil safe every time you try to charge but the pencil can be magnetically attached to the iPad which is better than the previous iPad pro 10.5inch.

The iPad Air has the same A12 processor as the latest iPhones, and in use, that means everything feels snappy and fluid, even when multitasking. Battery life has been great, too. There are cameras. They are fine, but not good or bad enough to worry about. In fact, the keyboard itself feels better than the MacBook’s but I would say not better than the surface keyboard. The keyboard is like an origami designed keyboard which means that if not in use it will not affect your way of working with the iPad. The lightning connector is still there to charge the device but as the world is going towards the USB C.

I thinks apple still likes the USB C ports to be only in their Pro products but it is a personal choice if you like USB C or lightning port although USB C is more safe. One more feature that this device is lacking is the benefit of Face ID is not there you only get the fingerprint scanner to secure your deviceHowever, with this device, Apple gives us back the good ol’ headphone jack, which we’ve all sorely missed.

In conclusion I would say any for any student who wants nothing but a tablet to write and take notes on or do their assignment, this is the product to go for and it won’t break your budget.
