Clubbing can be an escape for many students. With deadlines done and dusted, we all need some time to unwind and enjoy our younger years. In fact, lots of people at University enjoy going out to listen to music, drink and socialise. Clubbing can be fun, but it can also be expensive. Everyone loves a night out, but when money is low it can be hard to go somewhere student friendly. So, where is a good London club for students?
Atik is a trendy, modern and exciting club based in several locations across the UK. These include Uxbridge, Windsor, Edinburgh, Hull and Oxford. Most university students go to Atik in Uxbridge. Located approximately a five-minute walk away from Uxbridge station, students can enter free before 11pm on Wednesdays. Just 20 minutes’ away from Brunel University and an hour from University of West London, you can enjoy a free night out with half price drinks before 11pm.
With weekly events and celebrity appearances you can experience an enjoyable night out with your friends. Many artists come to perform especially for students. Singers such as B Young, Tory Lanez and D-Block Europe have all had live performances there. Guest DJ’s come to play, Charlie Sloth and DJ Luck are just a few who have been on the decks. Love Island stars Jack Fowler, Dani Dyer and Wes Nelson host some events and come to party.
Drinks are half price before 11pm and, even after that, they remain fairly affordable.
There are two rooms in the club, the ‘main’ room and ‘vinal’. The main room plays chart songs, House, R&B and Dancehall. Vinyl plays old school classics, cheesy hits and on student nights they play Bashment and Hip-Hop
Depending on what you like, a double with a mixer is around £6. The cheapest double is £4 with Red Bull. Premium spirits like Ciroc, Hennessy and Grey Goose are £11 with a mixer. Cocktails are £5.50 and taste delicious. Sex on the beach, Long Island, Woo Woo and Blue Lagon are all on the menu for you to purchase. Popcorn and crisps are available to buy for a pound in case you get a bit peckish.

Vinyl plays old school classics, cheesy hits and on student nights they play Bashment and Hip-Hop. The main room is the biggest room in the club and has three levels, including a balcony bar, so you can party whilst looking down on the dance-floor.
Booths and tables are accessible and range from £30 to £60 depending on which room and what table you want to book. Booths are around the dance-floor and on level 2 of the club. With a purchase of a booth you can get a free bottle of Ciroc and entry for six people. Even if you don’t pre-book you still might be able to buy a booth depending on how many are available.
The dance-floors in both rooms are spacious and vibrant with lights and a disco ball positioned above the floor. Security is everywhere so you will be safe, especially if you have any problems, they are professional, helpful and will fix the issue.
